Acceptance Criteria

A dual CQC registration enables Gray Healthcare to offer personalised care and treatment for those with disease, injury or illness.

Gray Healthcare is utilised to step patients down directly from:

  • Acute Psychiatric Units
  • Low & Medium Secure / Forensic / Rehab / Specialist ABI Services
  • Within the NHS or private sector to the community, without the need for constant step-down and environment change

Patients will be:

  • Male or female
  • From 18 years of age
  • Primary diagnosis of a mental illness including personality disorder
  • Learning disability
  • Acquired brain injury
  • May have dual diagnosis or complex care needs

All too often these individuals may be inappropriately placed, out of area, revolving door patients or experiencing unnecessary increased bed days, often due to insufficient community resources.

We access individuals currently on a section 3, 37/41 or informal.

Subject to an offer of a package of care in the community, each service user will enter Gray Healthcare under a CTO, Restriction order or be informal.
